To rephrase the headline, PUFA and Oxidised PUFA from heated vegetable oils increases the risks of various types of cancer and also other lifestyle diseases.

Vegetable oils have been sold to us as superior and healthier alternatives to animal fats (ghee, butter, lard, tallow, etc.) and coconut oil for over 60 years. The reason being the latter is rich in saturated fats.

Quite the opposite may be true, as the problems associated with vegetable oils are coming to the fore.
