The Deaths Caused By Coronavirus In India Are Nothing Compared to Deaths Caused By Air Pollution

Indian cities have the worst air quality in the world. 21 of the world’s 30 most polluted cities are in India. 

Bad air in India is killing almost a million people every year from a variety of illnesses and sickening a hundred million people or more. 

Why don’t we panic about this like we are about the Novel Corona Virus COVID-19? Why does the Indian government not panic and press a massive amount of resources and attention to solving this public health disaster?

Air pollution (along with unsafe food and unsafe water) are the most significant problems Indians face. It is high time our governments started prioritizing them as they should.
