Swiggy and Zomato must stop this poison immediately!
Food delivered from restaurants in plastic containers is a major source of toxicity. Many restaurants do not use food grade plastic containers. Even in the case of those few that do use food grade plastic, the containers still leach a lot of toxic stuff into the food.
The FSSAI has already told these online food delivery companies to stop delivering food from unlicensed restaurants.
Companies like Swiggy and Zomato, along with all restaurants, must be ordered to stop delivering food in plastic containers. Unfortunately, the FSSAI does not have the resources to enforce such a regulation.
