It is a roasted/baked snack but at 20 percent fat, has almost the same amount of fat as many fried snacks.
The product contains sunflower oil as the edible vegetable oil. It is high in PUFA and this PUFA is mostly omega 6 fats. As omega 6 PUFAs are susceptible to oxidation when heated, irrespective of the smoking point. We do not recommend this oil for high heat cooking. There is evidence that Oxidised PUFA is a source of toxicity in food and can cause a wide range of lifestyle diseases.
It contains an unspecified edible vegetable fat as an ingredient. Often brands tend to obscure the fact that they have used hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated vegetable oils by using the term “edible vegetable fat”.  Hydrogenated fats are a source of trans fatty acids or “transfats”, which are harmful to health. Transfats increase the likelihood of heart disease, stroke, cancer and many other ailments.
Products like these are high in salt, it contains 899 mg sodium or 2.24 gm salt per 100 gm pack. This is high and unacceptable as the child or adult consuming it gets almost the entire day’s salt from consuming just 1 pack of this.
The foodnetindia rating for this product:-
foodnetindia safety rating: 3 – (On a scale of 1 to 10 from very unsafe to very safe)

Edible Vegetable Fat
Salt
High sodium diets have been known to be the cause of high blood pressure, heart disease, etc. The recommended daily intake of salt is between 1-3 grams.
Sunflower Oil
Certain vegetable oils contain very large amounts of biologically active fats called Omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which could be harmful in excess. Excess polyunsaturated fats may react with oxygen and oxidised Omega-6 fats can damage body functions and perhaps even vital structures like DNA. In addition, some people may be allergic to specific oils. Food allergies can sometimes be life threatening.
Edible Vegetable Fat
Often brands tend to obscure the fact that they have used hydrogenated or partially hydrogenated vegetable oils by using the term “edible vegetable fat”.  Hydrogenated fats are a source of trans fatty acids or “transfats”, which are harmful to health. Transfats increase the likelihood of heart disease, stroke, cancer and many other ailments.
This food product does not specify which edible vegetable fat has been used. We believe that it is not responsible behaviour for a brand to avoid clearly stating what ingredients have been used.
A vegetable oil is a triglyceride extracted from a plant. Such oils have been part of human culture for millennia. The term “vegetable oil” can be narrowly defined as referring only to plant oils that are liquid at room temperature, or broadly defined without regard to a substance’s state of matter at a given temperature. For this reason, vegetable oils that are solid at room temperature are sometimes called vegetable fats.
