MTR Vegetable Pulao contains cooked pulao, carrot, beans, green peas, onion, garlic, ginger, salt, mixed spices, lemon juice, spice extract and refined sunflower oil.
In India refined sunflower oil is the oil of choice for millions of households who are not aware that vegetable oils like these contain very large amounts of biologically active fats called Omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which could be harmful in excess.
It contains 0.80 gm salt in it which is high as the the daily allowance for salt intake as per WHO guidelines is 1-3 gm per day, and eating a 100 gm pulao takes you almost to that level.
