Green coffee beans are beans that are not yet roasted, the process of roasting lowers the amount of chlorogenic acid which is thought to have health benefits. It is thought to affect blood vessels so that blood pressure is reduced.
Chlorogenic acid in green coffee is thought to have a positive effect on the way the body handles blood sugar and metabolism.
It contains edible vegetable oil- sunflower oil, certain vegetable oils contain very large amounts of biologically active fats called Omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which could be harmful in excess as they damage the Omega-6 to Omega-3 ratios which are already compromised in most people. The product would have been better with oils with mono-unsaturated fats and medium chain triglycerides.
