Summary feedback
Khaman Dhokla is a speciality of the western Indian state of Gujarat. It is a popular traditional snack made from fermented Chana dal batter
Gits Khaman Dhokla contains a high amount of salt 2.1 gm per 100 gm of the product which is the amount of salt recommended for consumption for a whole day. This means that if anyone consumes just 1 pack of this product then they get the entire day’s salt requirement.
A serving of 100 gm pack contains 15 gm added sugar which is  high and should be avoided..
The foodnetindia Safety rating for this product :-
foodnetindia safety rating: 3 (On a scale of 1 to 10 from very unsafe to very safe)
The salt content is high and strictly not recommended for those with kidney disease and lifestyle disease and those who are obese. Even healthy people must know that their entire day’s salt allowance is completed with only one serving of this product.
foodnetindia wholesomeness rating: 3 (On a scale of 1 to 10 from very unbalanced nutrition profile to excellent nutrition profile)
Gits Khaman Dhokla contains chana dal batter which is good for health but it cannot be considered as healthy food and is not a meal replacement, this is primarily due to the very high salt and sugar content.
Ingredients of concern in Gits Khaman Dhokla
Sugar Powder
salt
Sugar
This food product does not specify which sugar has been used. This is important because different sugars have different metabolic effects. For example, Sucrose (Cane Sugar) is very different from Fructose (Fruit Sugar). Some foods use high fructose corn syrup which may be harmful in much lower quantities than sucrose.  We believe that it is not responsible behaviour for a brand to not clearly state what ingredients have been used.
Salt
High sodium diets have been known to be the cause of high blood pressure, heart disease, etc. The recommended daily intake of salt is between 1-3 grams.
Other ingredients that are in the product but not a major source of concern in our opinion are:
Besan (Chick Pea flour (56%),
Semolina,
Sugar Powder
salt,
Citric Acid (E330)),
Sodium Biacarbonate (E500(ii),
Asafoetida,
Turmeric & Sodium acetate (E262)
