Yoghurt StrawberrySummary feedback
Nestle a+ Grekyo Greek Yoghurt is becoming popular among health and fitness enthusiasts.
This product has added sugar which is 12.3 gm per 100 gm pack. This is high and we do not consider any product with such high amounts of added sugar as health food. This is better classified as a dessert to be eaten sparingly and occasionally. Just two servings of 100 grams will take you to your daily sugar allowance from all sources!
The foodnetindia rating for this product:-
foodnetindia safety rating: 4 – (On a scale of 1 to 10 from very unsafe to very safe)
Health conscious people consume such products without fully understanding the health damage that added sugar causes. We would therefore advise people to consume this as a dessert and not as health food.  Added sugar from various sources adds up and can cause obesity, diabetes and a host of other lifestyle diseases.Products with added sugar should be consumed only in very small quantities and not frequently, even by healthy people.
foodnetindia wholesomeness rating: 5 – (On a scale of 1 to 10 from very unbalanced nutrition profile to excellent nutrition profile)
We like the fact that this product contains healthy and nutritional milk and milk solids, and also fruit, but we don’t like the fact that there is added sugar in the product which makes it possibly unhealthy and unsafe for some people.
Ingredients of Concern in Nestle a+ Grekyo Greek Yoghurt Strawberry

Sugar
Different sugars have different metabolic effects. For example, Sucrose (Cane Sugar) is very different from Fructose (Fruit Sugar). Some foods use high fructose corn syrup which may be harmful in much lower quantities than sucrose. We believe that it is not responsible behaviour for a brand to not clearly state what ingredients have been used.
Colour (161g)
The product contains Orange food colour 161g which is also used in tanning pills. Eye problems are common side effects when used in tanning pills.
Added Flavour (Nature Identical Flavouring Substances)
This food product does not specify which flavours or flavouring substances have been used. The flavours should be specified as some of them have serious side effects and may not be suitable for infants, pregnant women or people who are allergic. We believe that it is not responsible behaviour for a brand to avoid clearly stating what ingredients have been used.
By not specifying what these flavours and substances are, we are forced to consider what they are hiding and why would they be so reluctant to mention what they have used in the food product!
By this behaviour, these manufacturers expose people to possible allergens or toxins that could be avoided if consumers knew what they were.
