I disagree with FSSAI when it says that ten states are not equipped to ensure food safety.
My position is that NONE of the states in India are equipped to do so.
The Government of India and FSSAI are also not equipped to ensure food safety for our citizens.
India must increase its food safety regulatory infrastructure investments many times over. The investments are essential to give our citizens acceptable safety standards. Indians are far away from the food safety standards that the average person in the developed world gets.
