Reiterating its commitment to food safety, Paul Bulcke, Chairman of the Board of Directors at Nestle SA said food safety is “not negotiable” for the company, and that it “takes pride in providing safe food products” in whichever country it operates in.

A World Bank expert said that budget constraints limit access to nutrient-rich foods for many families, who are unaware or unable to afford a nutritious diet.
