Lately, news reports the world over have been talking about the new obsession for “raw water”. Silicon Valley, home to the best in food and drink, has been seeing a surge in demand for unfiltered water.
Raw water is basically “unfiltered, untreated, un-sterilized spring water”, which is becoming the rage and this craze is spreading all over the world. This ‘raw water’ has been selling for as much as £45 for 4.5 litres, and prices are only going to be rising in the coming days.
Food expert Bill Marler thinks that this new trend is ridiculous and hazardous and said, “Almost everything conceivable that can make you sick can be found in water. The diseases that killed our great-grandparents were completely forgotten about.”It’s fine till some 10-year-old girl dies a horrible death from cholera in Montecito, California. You can’t stop consenting adults from being stupid. But, we should at least try.”
This weird trend may soon be viral in India and we at foodnetindia advise our readers not to choose raw water because of the diseases and dangers that could inhabit it.
