Forget the Unhealthy Roadside Momos, Make them at Home Instead!

Recently there has been a lot of focus on how roadside momos momos are unhealthy and should be banned due to one of the ingredients used, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG).

But these classic Tibetan steamed dumplings have come a long way and are too good to be left out completely from our lives. So why should we buy them from the street when we can just make them at home using fresh clean ingredients.

For starters, the outer part of the shell of the momos is made from maida or refined flour and we can ensure that we use the best flour available, or even substitute it with whole flour instead of refined flour. Then we can use fresh vegetables or chicken and not the stale ingredients often used by street vendors. Steamed food is gaining popularity because of it being low on oil and being a healthy snack.
